identifying and Demonstrating Current Values

 

Values are basic and fundamental beliefs that guide or motivate attitudes or actions. they help us to determine what is important to us. the following describes how each of these values can be identified and demonstrated:

  • Deliver Promises – This Value refers to how good you are at keeping your promises once you have mentioned it. This value can be identified by looking at the previous history of an individual and how they have been able to keep their word. This is demonstrated by delivering to your promises and not backing out.
  • Clear Communication – This value refers to how good you are at projecting your message to individuals and how good you are at interpreting them. This value is demonstrated by looking at feedback received from customers/colleagues on how good you are at relaying messages and communicating effectively.
  • Innovate – This is the ability to think outside the box and work towards something new that has not been done before. This value can be demonstrated by looking at one’s ability to overcome challenges. Whether they prefer to solve challenges in the conventional way or try to get a new solutions-based approach towards problems.
  • Embrace Change – This is the ability of individuals to accept changes in their work systems whether they be system upgrades or changing the whole working environment to boost productivity. This value can be demonstrated by looking at one’s attitude towards little changes in life, whether they embrace changes or are totally against any changes. Sometimes changes are necessary for the betterment of all.
  • Respect – This is that value that determines a person’s character and outlines whether they treat all individuals with respect or just those that are senior to them. This can be identified by looking at someone’s character and how they behave with and treat others be it someone superior or inferior to them.
  • Collaborate – This is the ability of individuals to come together and work as a team to achieve a common goal. This value can be demonstrated by showing willingness to work with others and working as a team to achieve goals that benefit all.
